About GTCSB

The Germplasm Traceable Community Seed Bank is a farmer-led initiative in Bangladesh dedicated to conserving the nation’s rich agricultural biodiversity. We empower local communities by providing access to diverse, climate-resilient seeds and meticulously documenting each variety’s origin, traits, and traditional knowledge through a unique traceability system. Our mission is to ensure food security, build climate resilience, and safeguard our invaluable farming heritage for future generations.
